Summary: Hawley Landscaping by Landscape Concepts of Fairfax, Inc. Located in the heart of Fairfax County, the 'Hawley' landscaping is a great representation of the artistry and expertise of Landscape Concepts of Fairfax, Inc. While working with a mix of clients throughout Alexandria, Annandale, Arlington and beyond, we were able to create a landscaping that beautifully merges aesthetics and functionality to fit the client's lifestyle. The 'Hawley' began with a thorough site analysis that allowed our skilled team to assess specific site challenges including an uneven hillside and sections of the yard that received little sunlight. By using quality materials such as locally sourced stone, eco-friendly mulch and plant species native to Virginia, we were able to create a sustainable landscape that looks great in Virginia. The features a beautiful stone pathway woven through the garden that is made of durable flagstone. This pathway allows not only for easy access throughout the yard but also provides a rustic charm. In addition to the paths, we created a custom raised garden bed made from reclaimed wood that promotes optimal growing conditions for vegetables and herbs as part of sustainability initiatives. As part of the client's desire for a relaxing outdoor space we incorporated a soothing water feature that gently cascades as it flows over rocks amidst the lush ferns and colorful perennials - creating great sounds and center piece of color. Our included outdoor lighting in useful positions to light up paths and highlights the flower beds so the client can enjoy the space at night. During the process of the there were some challenges such as a tight timeline and weather; however the team always produced quality work. The final evolved from the client's vision into a beautiful landscape and will add value and enjoyment to their home. The 'Hawley' showcases Landscape Concepts of Fairfax, Inc.'s commitment to excellence, transforming a mundane space into an extraordinary landscape for people to enjoy.
