Landscaping is excited to present our newest , a colorful Tennis Court Landscape designed for a valued customer in the beautiful town of Westfield. Functionality with aesthetics and turning a mundane sporty space into a lively retreat this encapsulates it all. It brings in some low-water, native greenery to help frame the court area with some additional beauty while also reducing maintenance (always a bonus). There is very high-quality permeable paving stones at the surrounding court that do not let water accumulate. It is an important thing to suit the court to stay good. The site has a natural slope so one of the challenges we had to overcome was leveling out some of the terrain. We engineered terraced planting beds that solved the drainage problem AND provided additional depth and variety in the landscape. They were filled with a mixture of colorful perennials and ornamental grasses, creating interest all year around while helping to soften the edges of the hardscape as well. We also had a custom backcourt privacy hedge planted comprised of fast-growing evergreen shrubs, keeping the area private and peaceful. Solar-powered LED lighting along the pathway provides both safety and style and lights up the space in the evenings for matches and socializing. The end result is a comfortable balance of sport and nature, appealing to both players and spectators.
