This water feature's stunning multi-tier waterfall is composed of naturally sourced local stone that flows into a below pond. The pond perimeter is filled abundantly with aquatic plants that improve the water feature's visual quality and promote healthy ecosystems in water features. The materials we utilized for this water feature were eco-friendly and designed to endure anything nature may throw at it, while flourishing all year round in the varying seasons of the Pacific Northwest. This had our work cut out for us by a vast natural slope from the hill towards the bottom of the yard. Water features are often challenging to design and maintain proper visual appearance and water flow; in this case, we faced both challenges at the same time. To handle the slope and still create a terraced water feature design, we devised an elaborate system that utilized flowform like devices to create overflowing terraces made with natural stone. The client is ecstatic with the final product and also enjoys the peace as local wildlife such as birds and butterflies flock to visit. Now, the client has their own private sense of tranquility in their back yard that not only invites wildlife but also serves as a great back drop to gatherings and peace and quiet.
