About This Project

Tropical Landscape Camp & Camp Associates Landscape Architects proudly unveils our 'Tropical Landscape' that transporting paradise to the heart of our service areas, Alamo, Walnut Creek & Oakland. Even this ambitious is a rich tropical paradise, an eclectic mix of temperate fauna, vibrant plant colors, and water features. A palette of native palms, ferns, and flowering plants were carefully selected to provide year around beauty and low maintenance. The 19,000 square-foot estate features a custom stone pathway that meanders through the property past a koi pond, flanked by tropical plants that add to the atmosphere. Incorporating high-quality materials such as natural stone, and natural mulch demonstrates greater environmental responsibility while improving aesthetics. As it is not flat land what we find out, the topography varies from top to bottom, we face some challenges with grading to overcome as more heigh side of the land needs to manage by diverting the water following down the slope as water has to go from upward to downward. The special landscaping skills of our team created tiered planting beds that significantly reduced an erosion problem while providing a deep and dimensional visual element in the overall design. The end product was better than the clients vision, they now have a lush retreat to relax and entertain in. Filled with color, the sound of water and an atmosphere of openness, the Tropical Landscape is a product of what Camp & Camp Associates stand for in quality and pledge. Not only does this increase property value, but it also provides our local ecosystem with a sustainable environment creating a true community gem.
