We successfully finalized an impressive 'Patio and Firepit' at Garcia Patios and Landscaping, Inc. that made an outdoor space all that much more beautiful for one of our clients in Annapolis. The started with an extensive consultation to get an understanding of how the client envisioned a space that marries form with function turning into a casual entertainment zone. We built a large multi-faceted patio with natural-looking, durable pavers that are manufactured to withstand the forces of nature. A color scheme was chosen that blends with the existing landscape using warm earthy hues to enhance the beauty of the yard space. A unique element of this is the custom firepit built from locally-sourced stone to create a gathering place for evenings. A comfortable seating arrangement enveloped the firepit, ideal for entertaining guests or calm nights beneath the stars. Challenges During The The faced some challenges the issues were related to the site's topography and drainage. The obstacles were no match for our skilled team, who devised a grading plan and drainage solutions due to the site conditions in order to have a sustainable patio that will hold up for years to come without pooling water. The end result is a stunning backyard that is not only functional for the client but also a little bit more than what they dreamed of. Together, this large patio and sweet firepit area has created a beautiful, functional space that suits the homeowners' lifestyle well; it feels like the ideal setting for summer get-togethers and winter fires.
