Geoscapes Inc.: Rock Walls Here is a beautiful we completed at Geoscapes Inc. - the Rock Walls - showcasing our passion for constructing incredible landscapes for the delight of clients in and around Alger, Bellingham, Ferndale, Geneva, Lummi Island, and Sudden Valley. It nearly always starts with a design to turn the client’s concept into a functional space. The ’s scope was to design and build natural-stone retaining walls that added aesthetics and form to the client’s outdoor space. Using locally salvaged granite and fieldstone, our team of skilled masons crafted walls that complemented the existing environment yet offered a warm rusticity and charm. These materials were critical not only for durability and functionality but also to match context and give the impression that, although these walls were constructed, they always belonged there. The also included engineering considerations; the challenges of variances in ground elevation and existing vegetation became paramount during planning. The Geoscapes Inc. team handily manoeuvred around these issues through site engineering and design. Not only did this maintain the structural integrity of the walls but it also maintained the natural aesthetics of the site. The final product is breath-taking. The Rock Walls are functional in nature controlling soil erosion, drainage, and pathways with style and aesthetics. Our craftsmanship of the rock walls resulted in lovely visual patterns in unit, colour, texture, and depth. In their testimony, the clients were overwhelmingly pleased and particularly noted how well the Rock Walls tied together their outside living space. On the surface, the work improved property value but deeply it transformed their outdoor living into a peaceful enclave for the enjoyment of family and quiet.
