Native Floral, Stone Pathways, and Natural Bed Areas Our latest , 'Native flowers, stone pathways, and natural bed areas,' was recently completed by Wilson's Natural Landscaping, LLC. This illustrates our commitment to restoring and creating sustainable and beautiful landscapes. Located in Concord, NC, the beautifully integrates native plants into the land's natural topography to create a well-balanced design that adds beauty and ecological function. The planting scheme consists of various native flowers selected for historical hardiness and low maintenance, such as Black-eyed Susans, Coneflowers, and Wild Bergamot. These flowering plant perennials are not only a wonderful addition to the local environment, but also support pollination for the surrounding eco-community. The lush planting scheme is added to by the natural stone pathways that we constructed using local materials. The stone paths provide function and aesthetics as they wrap and weave through the garden providing a robust and natural style and feel. One of the noticeable challenges of the was the site’s uneven surface. Our team graded the lot to facilitate drainage and to move and build up lot mass, so that water did not collect and all the plants' roots would receive access to moisture to thrive. Natural bedding areas were also included in the planting scheme as we wanted to create something complimentary to the existing landscape to provide soil health and weed deterrence. Organic mulch was used for the natural bedding areas and a mix of native grasses was established to improve and support soil health. The final product is a combination of beauty and functioner's thought through changing the landscape into a lovely retreat. It was rewarding to see the delightful client happiness the work completed. The client commented on the colors, beautiful meandering pathways, and how great it felt to be surrounded by the native planting design scheme.
