Initial work on 'Exteriors' involved an in-depth consultation process to fully understand the client vision and requirements. Our design team put together a comprehensive landscape plan that consisted of a variety of native plants, hardscape features, and usable outdoor living areas. Using natural stone pavers for the patio attracted us to durable materials, giving an attractive finish and weathered performance! The property was sloped which presented one of the challenges we encountered. We conquered this with tiered gardens that provided beautiful layers and better soil retention and drainage. This was a new way of thinking, because instead of having the gardens designed purely for aesthetics, the home also took into account the practicality of erosion and water flow in the gardens. Along the way, our expertly organized team carefully began to frame the many features, such as the custom-built fire pit, which offered a natural gathering point, and seating areas designed to provide ideal lounge spots. We chose a mix of perennials and ornamental grasses, some of which flowered during different seasons so that the landscape would be joyous with color throughout the year. The client was absolutely thrilled with the end result! The elements of hardscaping with softscaping were perfectly executed; leaving them with an outdoor oasis that exceeded their own expectations. This , 'Exteriors', highlights the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction that LG Scott Landscaping & Tree Service strives for. Not only did this beautify the home, but created a space away from home for the client to enjoy and use for many years to come!
