Custom Playground by LG Scott Landscaping & Tree Service In the beautiful land of New Kent, LG Scott Landscaping & Tree Service introduces the ‘Custom Playground’, an outdoor paradise made for family fun. This serviced a unique range of clients in and around Charles City, Lanexa, Providence Forge, Quinton, Ruthville, James City and Hanover wanting a fun, creative escape amongst nature. The design process started with comprehensively understanding the clients vision, what they liked, and how their children will use industry. Our expert crew is using a detailed plan created a sensitive layout using different landscaping elements that are safe, accessible, and are conductive towards imaginative play. Natural Rubber mulchGravelWe chose the highest quality materialsCharacteristics of Natural Rubber mulchSince our idea was to make them a safe and inviting play area, we incorporated a variety of materials, we’ve included the ecofriendly rubber mulch and Natural wood.. It includes handcrafted wooden play equipment, swings, climbing walls, as well as a garden to stimulate children’s senses using smell (through aromatic plants), sight (through different colors of flowers), and tactile (using the variety of textured leaves). The site was not level, which was one of the challenges we faced. The solution was a strategic grading plan that provided drainage all while giving a level surface area to begin preparing for play equipment. We also included natural boulders and logs in the landscape to give kids the chance to climb plus it made the playground more beautiful. When completed however the 'Custom Playground' as it was known, became a little Oasis in the countryside, providing much delight for children and their parents who favour the fun and nature combination. The end result here is another shining example how LG Scott Automotive engineered creative quality durability and delivering the promised good to the client. Laughter and memories fill the newly landscaped spaces, a true reflection of family, community and play.
