Full Site and Landscape Plan in Westwood, MA Completed by Sallie Hill Design, Landscape Architect The 'Westwood Full Site and Landscape Plan' located in Westwood, MA exemplifies our company aesthetic at Sallie Hill Design. This represents a complete transformation of the residential yard into a beautiful outdoor oasis. The overall concept embodied "beautiful and functional". The design featured an awful plan comprising beautiful native plantings, hardscapes, and inviting outdoor living spaces. The incorporated durable materials, including local stone for the pathways and patios, while focusing on enhancing the beauty of the landscape rather than detracting from it. Custom seating areas and fire pits were included in the plan to further support family gatherings, time outside, and family memory-making. The pond also let nature take its course, and acted as a refuge for clientele's families. The layout for the site was significant challenge with downspouts flooding the area and header drainage issues that caused potential water damage to the landscape. Innovative grading flights alongside an updated drainage plan allowed us to direct site drain into the back of the yard as intended. We focused on directing the drainage around and away from house to maintain the integrity of the plants and hardscape surrounding the home. Overall, we executed a finished landscape client site plan that also considers the clients goals; a beautiful outdoor space that can be functionality used. The client was ecstatic the finished and enjoys an amazing yard restoration that blends with the architecture of the home,. At Sallie Hill Design; we build ideas into dreams, not only by budgeting with our clientele, but also planning, scheduling, and ultimately execution.
