Back Yard Bliss by Sweet Smiling Landscapes The "Back Yard Bliss" located in Santa Barbara is our example of the quality of design and craftsmanship delivered by Sweet Smiling Landscapes for every . We work in beautiful areas, such as Goleta, Mission Canyon, Montecito, Summerland, Toro Canyon, Ojai, and Venturaand we turned a space that was not used to its fullest potential into an outdoor retreat. This was an integration of native plants and drought-tolerant landscaping, while using a combination of beautiful succulents, aromatic herbs, and grasses native to the region to create visual interest. This , like all of our s, presented a challenge in that the site was on uneven land and there were three separate existing concrete features to work around; we creatively completed the entire as one design rather than separate elements, while ensuring the accuracy of the vision. The materials that were chosen were all of superior quality. The pathways were made of indigenous stone found only in the area; a cedar pergola was custom built for this specifically, to provide more shade while allowing the overall vision to be completed. A quiet water feature, designed with a bubbling fountain, allowed for the sound to entice people to the garden while attracting local wildlife. The outdoor lighting was designed to allow the garden to be lit at night, creating a completely new magical experience after sundown. After finishing, the client conveyed how much they loved it, and remarked how much they enjoy it as the favorite space of their outdoor living for entertaining friends and family, or taking a moment just to relax. The exhibited attention to detail and sustainable practices that enhanced the site value; the connection of back yard bliss was a realization of our commitment to quality and client satisfaction. This exemplified our passion for outdoor living; truly outdoor bliss.
