About This Project

Butterfly Garden by 3o5 Gardens Located amidst the atmospheric haze common to South Florida, 3o5 Gardens' 'Butterfly Garden' is a luscious testament to the artistry of landscaping, and to nature itself. This , located in the quaint municipality of Palmetto Bay, was designed with the intent of attracting the natural butterfly species of the area, all while providing the homeowner a serene outdoor escape. We thoughtfully chose a wide array of native plants colorful milkweed, lantana, coneflowers to beautify the garden and support butterflies and other pollinators. The winding pathways are made from porous paving stones, which keep the area well drained of excess water and avoid any environmental impact with the drainage directly going into the natural aquifers to hydrate the site. A significant hurdle we had to overcome was the surrounding soil, which needed to be heavily amended to sustain the flora intended to introduce into the undertaking. Our experienced horticulturists tirelessly prepared the soil with organic compost and chemical free fertilizers to create a healthy garden. We also added seating areas out of sustainably sourced wood throughout the garden so that the homeowners could enjoy a tranquil place to watch the butterflies passing through. The end result is a gorgeous place that is pleasing to the eyes AND is beneficial to the local wildlife that calls these gardens home by making every effort to establish a eco-friendly neighborhood thriving with nature. They were over the moon with how it turned out and now had butterflies flying around their garden, which is nature at its finest! Here at 3o5 Gardens, we want to be known for quality and creativity and the Butterfly Garden is a showcase of just that as we work hard all over Country Walk, Cutler Ridge, Hialeah, Homestead and wherever you may be!
