Landscape Design s: By The beachGarden To Life Landscaping Garden To Life Landscaping just finished a beautiful coastal landscaping called 'By the Beach', in the stunning area of Rio Del Mar. This transformation focused on combining nature with outdoor living space while creating an area that can be easily maintained, and is sustainable. An elaborate combo of California poppies, beach sage, dune grasses, and other native plants showed way for the , which survived salty air and sandy soil. To add to the coastal aesthetic, stone pathways were strategically placed throughout the garden using natural boulders and sometimes crushed stone sourced nearby, offering structure to the garden while also providing charm in the neighborhood. Great sunsets over the Pacific Ocean can be seen from the lovely wooden deck made of sustainably harvested redwood. But one of the most important challenges that had to be overcome by the was the microclimate of the area, which differs radically from places further inland. We meticulously chose plants that would thrive in drought conditions and designed an irrigation system that made the best use of the available water without sacrificing the colourful garden. We also put in erosion control so that the shoreline would be protected and the garden sustainable. The result can only be described as spectacular an outdoor haven that embodies the spirit of the sea side lifestyle. The happy customers now have a peaceful space of their own with comfortable seating areas, lush plants, and the sounds of the sea nearby. 'By the Beach' exemplifies Garden To Life Landscaping's approach to quality craftsmanship, innovative design and love for the planet, serving clients in Aptos, Capitola, Santa Cruz and beyond.
