Japanese Tree Weights / Shaping Technique by KAPPLE Landscape Design At KAPPLE Landscape Design, we recently completed a beautiful landscape design showing our skills in Japanese shaping trees applying the new and innovative tree weight technique. Serving the Jacksonville area and its Metro, St. Augustine, and all of NE Florida, we are excited to build beautiful landscapes while coining high-quality workmanship in the process. In this , we redesign an average garden to a beautiful, quiet aesthetic Japanese space. The client wanted nature and art together, focusing on Japanese maples and other ornamental trees. We took selective measures to pick out sustainable bamboo weights for the trees and a number of other materials to gently, naturally shape the trees and guide their branches while preserving their gracefulness. One of the main challenges to the was the starting condition of the trees because they were neglected. Each tree needed meticulous pruning and shaping of its branches to create the natural shape of these types of trees. Our horticulturists were instrumental in assessing the existing shape and structure of the trees while using careful shaping methods to sustainably maintain their beauty, health, and vitality after weighing the trees. Throughout the process, the tree weights made it easy to put the trees in whatever shape we needed as we gave the time necessary for the branches to be able to move because of their own tension. The final outcome of this is beautiful artistry with nature. Each tree was a form of art that we carefully shaped to help form a balanced, quiet garden space. The client was tremendously happy the transformation and told us how the garden not only gave curb appeal, but offered a nice quiet place to meditate and reflect. In the end, our using the Japanese tree weights and shaping techniques is evidence of KAPPLE Landscape Design’s serious commitment to excellence in landscape design work. We love creating beautiful landscapes that reflect the elegance of Japanese aesthetics while overcoming challenges to create a beautiful final design.
