This brought to life a custom-designed fireplace and a beautiful pergola to transform the client's backyard into a usable and enjoyable space. This started with a consultation to gather the client's vision and needs for their lifestyle. We started to pick materials that were of the highest quality and weather-resistant, which were natural stone for the fireplace and strong cedar for the pergola. These materials offer both durability to last, and visually stunning aesthetics. The fireplace design featured stonework and a cozy hearth area for the family to gather and enjoy evenings under the stars. The pergola accentuated the fireplace design, with the lattice design to add visual interest while providing necessary shade to keep the space usable throughout the seasons. The yard presented us with a challenge of an uneven landscape. We had to plan how to execute the build with a slope to keep everything level and stable. The experienced team of Heath Outdoor was able to adjust the terrain to an even foundation to support both structures. The designed landscape included native plants and lighting features to add a sense of warmth and ambience to inspire outdoor enjoyment. The end result was nothing short of stunning. The outdoor fireplace became the design centerpiece that gave the family a cozy place to gather and connect around, while the pergola provided an additional dining space and use of the yard.
