Backyard Revitalization by Heath Outdoor Heath Outdoor is pleased to showcase our most recent 'Backyard Revitalization' a that reimagined outdoor living for happy clients in Indianapolis and nearby communities including Beech Grove, Castleton, and Lawrence. This harmoniously brought together function and aesthetics to create an inviting space for relaxing and entertaining. The revitalization process started with a complete site assessment, which helped us determine how to develop the existing landscape while also addressing drainage issues that had plagued the site. Our team selected quality materials including strong pavers for the patio, natural stone for the retaining walls, and colorful native plants that do well in the local environment so that we would be able to offer longevity and low maintenance. One of the features that stood out was a multi-tiered garden that not only provides depth and charm, but creates a way to manage the natural slopes of the terrain without the use of tall retaining walls. In addition, client identified that there was limited sunlight on site, so we used shade-tolerant plants and flowers to add to our lush oasis throughout the seasons. The focal point of the backyard is a beautiful stone fire pit with generous seating to inspire gathering and story-telling beneath the stars. We also installed soft landscape lighting for safety and aesthetics, so there will be a nice warm glow throughout the space at night to further use the backyard for relaxing. Upon completion of the 'Backyard Revitalization', the exceeded the clients’ expectations from a space that was under-utilized to an inviting backyard that promotes socializing and enjoying time with family and friends. This improvement exemplifies Heath Outdoors commitment to quality craftsmanship and some of the most creative landscaping solutions available so that our clients in Crows Nest, Southport, and beyond will be able to enjoy their outdoor living space for years.
