Summary: North Bend Noriko Marshall Landscape Architecture has recently completed the North Bend , which combines nature and modern living beautifully. Situated in the beautiful surroundings of the Pacific Northwest, the North Bend illustrates the firm's focus on quality and innovation in landscaping, spanning both Ballard and Beacon Hill, Bellevue, and beyond. The design incorporates a beautiful range of native shrub and perennial plantings that provide visual interest, but also improve local biodiversity. The use of local stone for retaining walls and pathways gives a sense of the region’s natural character, while sustainable practices reduce environmental impact. Noriko Marshall's team dealt with challenges such as steep slopes and drainage issues the site presented. They cleverly resolved these two challenges through an intricate drainage system that naturally routes water, mitigates erosion, and can help stabilize the landscape for future longevity. Also incorporated, is a calming water feature, which provides the sound of water flowing while attracting local wildlife, creates a focal point of beauty. An ample outdoor living area was designed to include a fire pit and custom seating for entertaining and relaxing, broaden the area for entertainment or inviting someone to join you outside. The design completed satisfied the client well. The outdoor space was transformed into a colorful, sustainable oasis that compliments their home well. The North Bend showcased Noriko Marshall Landscape Architecture's craftsmanship and fine , making a lasting impression on all who experience the space.
