Estate Wall by Whispering Hills Garden & Landscape Design Center Located in beautiful Barrington Hills, the Estate Wall is a great example of the skilled craftsmanship and innovative design found at Whispering Hills Garden & Landscape Design Center. This unique hardscape element is made to improve the visual appearance and use of the estate. The Estate Wall is made from natural stone products from local quarries, which dare source materials that enhance the beauty and aesthetics of the surrounding landscape and terrain. The locality will also ensure the material withstands the elements. The challenge posed with the sloped areas required indepth planning and engineering to formulate a better fit with the existing site topography. The wall serves multiple purposes: It marks the property line, serves as a beautiful backdrop for the gardens, and adds curb appeal to the estate. Elevated planters were also added along the top of the wall to accommodate seasonal floral displays, giving regions of color and texture to the outdoor space. We also incorporated ambient lighting to highlight the beautiful stone textures and to set the mood in the evenings during gatherings. The final result delighted the client when they realized how the Estate Wall not only changed their landscape but enhanced how they enjoyed being outside.
