Down Harbor Edgartown Bettencourt Irrigation and Landscape Lighting is proud to have completed the 'Down Harbor Edgartown' in beautiful Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard. This is a reflection of our commitment to creativity and excellence in landscaping. The took a quaint coastal property and utilized many different native plants and hardy perennials to create a lush landscape design that is not only low maintenance, but also environmentally sustainable. In addition to using a wide variety of native plants and perennials, the property also has many local stone hardscape features including a beautiful granite patio that is perfect for family and friends to congregate and socialize around a fire pit on the patio and stargaze. Slope was a major site challenge, and we came up with creative solutions to develop a sophisticated drainage and irrigation system that would maintain the appropriate soil moisture while reduce water usage through smart technology. The culminated in a beautiful outdoor space that has curvilinear pathways lined with vibrant color, inviting accent lighting creating an enchanting atmosphere at night, and a relaxing water feature. The final result is a great balance of elegance and practicality, which has resulted in satisfied clients eager to host family and friends who enjoy this new and immersive outdoor living space.
