Pasadena Showcase House 2019 California Waterscapes As seen in Pasadena Showcase House 2019, one of the premier home and garden events of the season, California Waterscapes was proud to present this striking landscaping design. This outdoor oasis was designed to fit a large estate located in Pasadena, utilizing both functional and beautiful elements to accomplish this balance in . We handpicked a series of various landscaping features to complement the property. The property boasted a strategically placed water feature a tranquil koi pond sheltered by verdant foliage how its budding flowering plants. Aside from a pleasing centrepiece for the eye, this type of calm also served as a home to local critters, making the place a full functioning biosphere. Using quality materials like stone from local quarries for pathways and retaining walls, we were able to keep it rustic but also durable and functional and to fit in well with the rest of the landscape. The drought-tolerant plants we chose for Southern California work in harmony with the region to create a sustainable yet beautiful garden. There were challenges to overcome with the including having to deal with the varied changes in elevation over the estate as well as needing a way to incorporate the already established trees into their design. This experience enabled us to surmount these challenges and build terraced gardens with scenic and accessible views that preserved the landscape integrity. This resulted in a colorful coherent outdoor space, which provided joy to the client as well as other visitors. Built as an ultra-modern, oversized koi pond, the Pasadena Showcase House 2019 showcased luxury waterscapes custom built by California Waterscapes and was a centerpiece of one of the most celebrated annual house showcases. It is an honor we play a small part in adding beauty and character to Pasadena, and bringing our business of outdoor spaces to the world with our magic touch of making an ordinary outdoor space extraordinary!
