Metropolitan - A Redefined Landscaping Experience by The White Pear LLC, Design & Build Deep in the heart of Portland, The White Pear LLC, Design & Build's 'Metropolitan' landscaping is a shining example of originality in design and quality of build. In the vibrant NorthWest communities of Aloha, Beaverton, Tigard and many others, we took on the challenging yet fulfilling task of taking an adequate backyard and creating an urban oasis. Natural elements, as well as modern aesthetics, came together in the design. A stunning palette of native plants was chosen for their resilience and beauty such as the Oregon grape, sword fern, and red-twig dogwood plants. Adding to the urban feel were variations of patios made with basalt sourced locally, and walking paths adjacent to landscape beds rich with flowering color which allow visitors to escape into any one of the unique, lush spaces. One of our constant struggles throughout was dealing with the property's drainage issues. Using a dynamic drainage system, our expert landscapers made sure that the landscape could handle the rain of the Pacific Northwest seasons and remain beautiful over time. We were thrilled with how the completed 'Metropolitan' turned out. An outdoor entertaining space with a custom fire pit and complementary seating encourages gathering time, while a serene water feature provides a calming ambiance. Clients commented on 'how great that special outdoor space came to fruition' and how seamlessly we could introduce functional living space and integrate nature in their backyard. We pride ourselves on client experiences and pride ourselves on the quality of craftsmanship that comes with sustainable practices at The White Pear LLC. The idea of the 'Metropolitan' was to not only showcase our commitments to outstanding landscaping work, but also to showcase our love for enhancing outdoor living for quality of life moments in the greater Portland area and beyond.
