Backyard Reimagining - Before & After by Thompson's Landscaping At Thompson's Landscaping, we recognize that every backyard can be turned into a soothing oasis. Our latest , 'Backyard Reimagining - Before & After', reflects our desire to bring memories to life in the backyard of a homeowner in Conroe, Magnolia, Montgomery, Oak Ridge North, Pinehurst, Shenandoah, Spring, The Woodlands, and Tomball. What started off as a dull, overgrown, unusable space, turned into an inviting, timeless oasis. We began with a thorough consultation with the homeowners their dream vision of a kid-friendly atmosphere with plentiful color plantings, a comfort patio area, and utility garden space. After the consultation, we began the transformation of the existing landscape; but first we needed to clear the existing landscape, which presented some challenges with the land slope and water drainage. With our skilled crew, we successfully implemented a new drainage system so that the landscape will green with regularity during the heavier periods of rainfall. Next, we created an elegant patio with durable, color-blended matching pavers, enhancing the surrounding nature while providing an inviting space for the family to gather and relax. To enhance the existing value of the landscape while supporting pollinators, we included a varying selection of native plants arranged in usable layers of garden beds. To charm the senses with color and texture all- year-long, we incorporated ornamental grasses, flowering perennials that would bloom cycle after cycle and trimmed evergreens. For evening get-togethers, we completed the area with a picturesque fire pit and seating. As a result, the was a transformation that provided the homeowners more than they expected. A peaceful environment for family use was achieved to bring delightful memories for years to come.
