Description of the Gardens 2023 by Earth Songs Gardening Located in the spectacular landscapes of the Colorado Rockies, Gardens 2023 by Earth Songs Gardening is our demonstration of our love of building beautiful outside spaces that resonate with nature. We celebrate our external experience in the scenic towns of Avon, Beaver Creek, Edwards, Minturn, Red Cliff, Vail, Wolcott, Arrowhead, Bachelor Gulch, Mountain Star, Red Sky, and Singletree. This extensive landscape changed a previous normal yard, to a stunning botanical oasis. Our team used a thoughtfully selected color palette of native, drought-tolerant perennials, and seasonal blooming plants, to create an evolving tapestry of color throughout the seasons. Particular highlights not to be missed are the intricately designed stone pathways, constructed of local flagstone, which compel visitors to explore the lush vista. The custom built raised beds, made from reclaimed cedar not only provide a sustainable gardening solution, but help soften and warm the landscape as well. One of the major challenges we faced, was the site's differing topography and drainage. Working closely and intimately with our clients, we designed innovative tiered garden systems, to manage water flow while keeping the terraces beautiful. The tiered system was aesthetically pleasing and helped all the plants persist and thrive year-round. The site was completed with a completely captivating outdoor living area. This area possesses natural stone firepit and comfortable seating around the fire to create evenings to be remembered. The clients were exceedingly pleased with the ultimate design and finished product, and enjoyed the beautifully functional outside space 12 months per year. Earth Songs Gardening loves its attention to detail and construction resolve.
