Large Planter from Edwards by Earth Songs Gardening Earth Songs Gardening is excited to unveil the 'Large Planter from Edwards,' a custom landscape that exemplifies our unique expertise, design rights, and promise to our clients for quality and creativity. The 'Large Planter' , located in Edwards, showcases a beautiful large planter, adding a distinct feature to the client's outdoor design and creating a design element that was stylistically suitable yet functional to the surrounding landscape. The planter was designed with a heavy, wooden frame, giving it durability against the elements, and we used high-quality cedar to give a natural, rustic look that blends in with the surrounding environment. The planter is planted with a colorful mixture of native perennials and seasonal flowering plants, simulating the color palette agreed upon with the client while also attempting to help maintain the local growing, alpine climate. Thoughtful design of the planter included various native species that assist with biodiversity, habitat, and low-water utilization. One of the challenges during this was the client's property being on a slope. Our trained and skilled staff utilized several planters at various heights to assist with drainage, sun exposure for each planting, and creating a tiered approach to the planter itself. We incorporated drip irrigation to enhance efficiency when watering in the planter to increase sustainability, while also ensuring that proper watering was maintained. The final result is a visual masterpiece, enhancing the landscape and creating a sustainable habitat within the planter for local pollinators. The client's emotional reaction to the final product conveys a level of delight in their outdoor space being transformed into a vibrant area of color and vegetation for relaxation and the enjoyment of family and friends. Not only are we proud of the craft due to our contribution, but being able to maintain and enhance the natural beauty of Avon, Beaver Creek, and our surrounding areas.
