About This Project

Under Construction Previously known as Brown, Green & More, My Landscape Coach, is excited to present the 'Under Construction' . This is a landscaping for a residential client that improved the look of the outdoors in the North Valley of Albuquerque. The completed was over 2,500 square feet in size, and it was a merging of functional and natural beauty in the creation of an outdoor sanctuary for the homeowner. The features a very diverse plant palette of native plants that represent sustainable landscaping, given their low maintenance needs and tolerability to the arid climate of New Mexico. The fully custom stone pathway, made of locally harvested flagstone, encourages walking through the landscape while being both durable and naturally beautiful. Also featured, a water feature with a cascading fountain not only adds to the landscape visually, but also audibly, which all adds to the peaceful energy of the . One of the most challenging aspects of the was dealing with the irregular terrain, which required some innovative grading work for drainage and erosion control. The landscape team implemented cutting-edge techniques through grading, which allowed for optimal water runoff and plant health. The xeriscaping principles employed minimize water consumption with maximum plant color display. The result was an impressive outdoor space that not only met the client's goals but exceeded them. The combination of space and style with a seating area and lighting made this backyard an ideal place for family get togethers or enjoying the outdoor experience at night. The client was more than pleased with the level of work and detail that represented their design vision.
