Landscape Designs from Around Albuquerque At My Landscape Coach, formerly Brown, Green & More, we are excited to present our recent , "Landscape Designs from Around Albuquerque." This was excited highlighting the distinctive beauty of Albuquerque and nearby areas, such as Carnuel, Corrales, Isleta, Kirtland Afb, Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, North Valley, Paradise Hills, Rio Rancho, Sandia Heights, and South Valley. The began with an extensive evaluation of the client’s outdoor space, where our goal was to connect the natural desert landscape with modern design. Indigenous plants, including blue grama grass, red yucca, and desert marigold, were incorporated to address impacts from the local climate, while boosting biodiversity. Locally harvested flagstone walkways not only contributed to the design’s aesthetics but also provided durability to the weather fluctuations in Albuquerque. A major concern was the slope of the site. Careful consideration was required to assure erosion control and drainage. Our knowledgeable team developed a tiered garden design, while employing retaining walls made from sustainable materials that would fit with the environment. This solution addressed function, but also added interest. The end product is a spectacular outdoor oasis, including a quiet water feature that attracts natural birds and wildlife while providing sound for the clients. Seating areas are positioned to provide a desired environment for relaxation and gathering. Well-designed lighting highlights landscape features at night. Our commitment to careful craftsmanship and detail produced an amazing outcome our clients loved. The spaces are now enjoyed on a daily basis providing a colorful and durable landscape, along with an outdoor space characteristic of Albuquerque which invites family and friends.
