Stepping Stones by Lynchburg Landscapes, Inc. The "Stepping Stones" by Lynchburg Landscapes, Inc. is a landscaping completed in downtown Lynchburg, VA., that shows our ability to create a beautiful and usable environment in a residential garden. The engaged the design and installation of a custom series of stepping stones that connected areas of a large garden with functionality and beauty. We sourced dense and durable natural flagstone to create the rustic, yet sophisticated walking path, with the intention of seamlessly blending into the surrounding landscaping. All stones were chosen as uniquely beautiful stones, ensuring the quality of the was impressive both in experience and visuals throughout the space. As we navigated the uneven ground and existing plants, we strategically placed each stone with an eye for design and knowledge of the area. A key challenge was designing the path to fit well into the existing landscape. The landscape included existing plantings and a pre-existing small water feature. Every design and consideration was made to enhance the flow and style of the landscape, while still conforming to our client's expectations of aesthetic and use. We were able to create a space where the landscape felt humanly approachable, yet nature inspiredcohesively. The result is a captivating path walking through the garden, allowing onlookers view of beautiful blooms punctuated by greens throughout. A highlight from our clients was their ecstatic acceptance of increased usability in their outdoor space along with the aesthetic lift to their property. "Stepping Stones" provides a functional pathway for our client while elevating their landscape into a peaceful oasis that reflects nature.
