Backyard to SMILE by Magnolia Green LLC Magnolia Green LLC is proud to present BACKYARD TO SMILE a transformatively creative landscaping delivered through our trademark 'within 60 miles of MS' service to one of the great communities we are proud to service. The client wanted to transform their uninspired and underutilized backyard into a outdoor oasis for relaxation and entertainment. Our first step was to perform an in-depth site analysis to address the challenges of the site a steep slope with little to no sunlight. Together with our design team, we put together a design that included flower beds, a quaint little path littered with stones, and a pleasant little patio area. With sustainable materials, we created a beautiful native plant landscape supporting biodiversity and a climate-adapted palette of plants. A central focal point was a locally-sourced stone fire pit that encouraged star-gazing gatherings. We also added soft landscape lighting to showcase the features while also safely providing the perfect amount of ambiance after dark. Over the course of the there were hurdles that included unforeseen soil conditions as well as problems with drainage. Our talented team pushed through these challenges with creative solutions, providing a stable base for every installation and landscape that will thrive for years to come. The end result was a stunning transformation that pleased our client, who now has a private daily getaway and a social scene for family and friends in her backyard.
