Summary: Brick & Stone Stairway with Paver Driveway by Rock Water Farm We at Rock Water Farm would like to share of a new landscaping the `Brick & Stone Stairway with Paver Driveway` in the town of Aldie. We thought this demonstrated the combination of aesthetic functionality so well that it deserved its own case study. It created an extraordinary visual entrance into the client's exterior yard area. The included a beautifully constructed stairway from quality natural stone and classic red bricks that provided both durability, as well as timeless beauty. The stairway was placed relative to the landscape, allowing access from the driveway to one's home while providing views of the landscape. To maintain and support the entrance, we included a large paver driveway in interlocking pavers in various tones, which dramatically improved curb appeal, eliminated runoff, and helped divert excessive maintenance. The combination of textures and colors assisted in creating a mostly uninterrupted access to the home's stairway and fitted the existing architecture while inviting guests deeper into the surrounding landscape. Part of the way through this installation, our skilled team encountered several challenges that included an existing condition that was not level, and access for heavy machinery was limited. In providing innovative interventions and exceptional engineering, we made the land level to our defined foundation of support for the stairway. Each capable step of the stairway installation was directed and focused to provide safety and comfort while ascending or descending. The client couldn't have been more thrilled. The stairway skills not only functioned properly while looking visually stunning but became a central gathering point to sit up and visit after exploring the landscape.
