Fenced Front Yard with Stone Pathway and Benches This beautiful landscaping was completed by Rock Water Farm in Aldie, Virginia, where we turned a typical front yard into a quiet retreat. The design featured a uniquely built fence made of wood to give the space privacy and an inviting aesthetic while fitting seamlessly into the landscape. The focal point of the yard is the stone pathway made of flagstone sourced from local quarries, and each stone was chosen based on unique textures and color combining naturally into the space leading visitors through the area. The pathway served not only as functional but also added a natural element to the front yard. And to complete the experience outdoors, we included custom-built wooden benches in the outside space that were constructed using responsibly harvested cedara naturally durable and decay resistant material. We strategically placed them for quiet outdoor sitting areas in the lush plant selections. Throughout the planning and installation process of this , even with all the beautiful features of the yard, the topography was a major challenge and required grading of the yard and the movement of soil to create the flat surface for both the pathway and the benches. Our proficient landscape workers adjusted the plan to achieve the overall look and usability for the outdoor hoodie. The outcome is a balanced outdoor space where functionality meets natural beauty, designed for the client to enjoy the outdoors and gather with family and friends. The fence, stone pathway, and custom builds of the benches have now transformed this front yard retreat while allowing the owner to add their own footprint and add curb appeal.
