Reidsville, NC 2017 High Rock Land & Hardscapes High Rock Land & Hardscapes transformed this residential property in Reidsville, NC in 2017. This was created to add an outdoor living space while complementing the existing natural beauty that surrounds it. The highlight of this was an inviting paver patio that merges the elements of durability and beauty in to one. For this design, we chose a warm, earthy color palette that was in alignment with the exterior of the home to encourage gathering and mingling outside with friends and family. We also created a belt of beautiful native plantings around the patio that have flowers during every season plantings that embrace local bees and butterflies and birds, demonstrating our commitment to sustainable landscaping practices. We faced many obstacles but one of the most important was the uneven land. The skilled crew that we had handle these jobs initially graded the entire landscape for proper drainage, crafting a gentle slope that minimizes the flatness of the yard and ultimately helps with the stability of the area as well. And it was a heartwarming stone retaining wall to build little defined planting spaces to stop soil containment and this wall also functionalizing the entire landscape area. To finish the , we added ambient lighting throughout the space, which lights up the focal points and sets a warm glow for evening entertaining. Commitment to detail and quality craftsmanship ensured that everything from material selections to plant placements worked together in synergy. Our clients were thrilled with the end result and are now enjoying their custom designed landscape oasis with an eye pleasing front landscape that showcases the home.
