Southern Vistas, Inc. is honored to present our 'Lake Carolina' landscaping , a beautiful transformation in central South Carolina that serves the areas of Arcadia Lakes, Cayce, Columbia, Dentsville, Forest Acres, Hopkins, Oak Grove, Pineridge, Saint Andrews, Seven Oaks, South Congaree, Springdale, West Columbia, and Woodfield. This demonstrates our approach to quality work, with a complex plan that coexists with the natural surroundings. At Lake Carolina, our crew worked hard to construct a three-dimensional outdoor environment that showcases native plantings alongside modern hardscaping features. Stone pavers quarried locally from South Carolina were laid in an organic, meandering pattern, creating footpaths that end with a private escape at the lakeside. A beautiful hand-crafted wooden deck offers a perfect view of evening lake sunsets. A significant challenge was the site's diverse elevation that required complex drainage solutions to avoid displacement from waterlogged sites. Our experienced crew developed a grading plan and insitu vegetated "rain gardens" to manage water drainage while achieving aesthetic design elements. This also promotes our social responsibility to the environment. Drought-tolerant and native species were included in the plant palette. These species perform well in the local climate, and add to the surrounding ecology by attracting birds and beneficial wildlife. The colors of the flowers, landscape plants, and boulders contribute to a lovely final that blend and complement the various elements. The transformed outdoor landscape retail is simply gorgeous, and we think it fulfills our client's entire program.
