The focal point of the ; was the installation of a solid and captivating retaining wall was the perfect way to create definition in the landscape, while supplying a structurally supportive barrier to retain soil. The materials we chose were practical and visually appealing interlocking concrete blocks that we carefully selected to match and enrich the natural landscape design. The construction materials were choice selections of durable stone with a providing rich earthy tones to contrast nicely with the beautiful flowers and lush greens of the surrounding plants. While installing the wall there were a few challenges we overcame that were presented in the landscape. There was a steep incline that necessitated consideration in the engineering and construction to account for inertia and overall design integrity. We excavated soil and meticulously graded the overall site, to ensure drainage was sufficient to avoid soil erosion or pooling water that leads to potential issues in landscape design. Our team stratified soil and began installation perfectly aligned. The end result was breathtaking. Not only does the primary element serve its purpose structurally, but it invites elegance to the property by creating a defined desirable way for planting to occur or outdoor activity to take place.
