Modern Theme - Small Space, Irvine In Irvine, 'My Garden: Landscape Design by Wayne' turned a small urban area into a modern landscaping gem with the title ''Modern Theme - Small Space.'' Our goal was to create a landscape that is functional and beautiful, combining contemporary design with the natural beauty of the surroundings. The overall design consisted of a beautiful combination of clean lines and lush greenery, carefully utilizing high-end materials like natural stone pavers and sustainably sourced hardwood decking to create inviting pathways and seating areas. A minimal water feature was built that contributes not only to the aesthetic feature but also to the calming sounds of water that contribute to the tranquility of the space. One of the challenges in the was to maximize the small plot of land without sacrificing style and functionality. Our team selected a palette of drought resistant plants, including native succulents and ornamental grasses, that thrive in the climate of Irvine and required minimal maintenance. This not only limited the amount of water used in the site but also added bright colours and textures in a way that was pleasing to the eye, without sacrificing growing seasons. The layout was designed to include an emphasis on vertical gardening to maximize vertical space and give the owner privacy from adjacent properties. Lighting was also incorporated into the to highlight the landscape's features after dusk that transformed the landscape into an amazing retreat after sunset. Overall, the result was a stunning combination of modern design and mother nature that amazed our clients who enjoy the functionality and beauty of the design!
