Flying Horse, Palermo RC Custom Landscape & Stonework is thrilled to announce the completion of the ‘Flying Horse, Palermo’ landscaping , which focuses on taking outdoor living to the next level! Located in the beautiful Flying Horse community, this incorporates our unwavering commitment to quality craftsmanship and innovative design. Our team faces unique challenges on this , including the slope of the property, rocky soil, and high winds that we had to take into consideration through creative design and strategic plans. This involved a multi-tiered design that improved aesthetics, drainage, and accessibility. We used natural stone from local quarries to build retaining walls, unifying the landscape with the environment while providing stability, and unmatched beauty. The included lush native plantings that were chosen for low maintenance and water efficiency. We incorporated perennials and grasses across the site yielding a visually dynamic palette of colour throughout the seasons. We positioned evergreen shrubs for a year-round privacy screen, as well as structure in hard and softscape. The flagship detail in the overall design concept was an extraordinary flagstone patio for an outdoor living space with a custom fire pit. The transition to the patio to the landscape was smooth; allowing for a beautiful space to entertain and unwind, consistent with the client's vision of a spacious and welcoming outdoor living concept. We added illumination to highlight and reinforce valuable existing features, as well an inviting evening ambiance for outdoor living. Each element was refined and adapted, keeping nature in mind and contributing to a cohesive aesthetic that enhances the overall tranquility of the . This not only met the client's purpose, but it transformed a space for generations of family and friends to gather and enjoy an awe-inspiring landscape. We merged functionality and beauty, which exemplifies the essence of the RC Custom Landscape & Stonework team's vision; to build magnificence.
