Floral by CMHP Design, LLC CMHP Design, LLC is excited to share the 'Floral ', a serious landscaping that transformed a residential lot in Central, SC, into a colorful and peaceful place. This landscaping serves communities in Clemson, Easley, La France, Liberty, and surrounding areas, showcasing our enthusiasm for quality and artistry in landscaping. The design uses a complex arrangement of native flowering plants, including azaleas, daylilies, and coneflowers - all judiciously selected to survive the local climate while attracting pollinators for flowering plants. Grass and evergreen shrubs were added for depth and textural variation. These additions give us year-wide interest in the landscape. The natural stone path leads visitors through the amazing nature garden, bringing them to a beautiful and handcrafted wooden arbor covered in climbing wisteria, a delightful and shaded place to relax and enjoy nature. A great feature of the was working with the “fall” of the lot. The grade of the lot needed to slope from front to back, so our workmen graded the yard with appropriate drainage ensuring that water did not sit on the backyard while preserving the natural contour of the lot. A local sustainably harvested hardwood was used for the finishing mulch to promote weed suppression and moisture retention. The end result is a dramatic landscape that not only the client expected but exceeded their vision. The colors and fragrances create a welcoming environment to enjoy and gather outside with family. The homeowner told our designer how pleased they were to share that 'Floral ' became roomy extension to their home.
