About This Project

Dacula Company: CMHP Design, LLC The Dacula from CMHP Design, LLC is situated in Dacula, Georgia, and demonstrates our focus on creating outdoor living spaces that are beautiful, functional, and unique. As the suggests, this was a complete backyard redesign that focused on creating a space that could be enjoyed by family and friends and used for relaxation. For the Dacula , we included a new, custom stone patio created with locally sourced flagstone that blends seamlessly into the natural beauty of the surrounding environment. Next, we added a fire pit - beautifully designed and built - that would allow our clients to enjoy spending time outside, even under the stars around a fire. To round out the outdoor living space, we added colorful, drought-resistant plantings that have a limited maintenance requirement. We decided to use a mix of native grasses and flowering perennials to create a colorful show while at the same time supporting the local wildlife. Finally, we added lighting to light the pathways and establish focal points in the landscape so our clients could continue to enjoy the beauty of their setting after sunset. The had challenges as well. The backyard was uneven, and our experienced team worked hard to gently grade the yard so that it would drain properly and be accessible while also enhancing the beauty and use of the yard. The concluded with the client being extremely happy with their new, elegant, practical backyard retreat.
