West Los Angeles Residence - Front Yard Allstate Landscape & Southwest Greens takes great pride in transforming the front yard at a beautiful residence in West Los Angeles. The was all maximising curb appeal while creating a retreat-like space where the homeowners could relax and enjoy their outdoor space. The landscape was thoughtfully chosen, blending a variety of native and drought-tolerant plant species, to ensure the landscapes sustainability and low-maintenance requirements. Major aspects of this included a custom-made stone pathway created with flagstone sourced locally, allowing the guests to transition through a lush yard filled with a rich palette of succulents, ornamental grasses, and perennials. We also incorporated an elegant water feature that offers the sound of flowing water and a relaxing atmosphere in the busy urban environment. A unique challenge faced by our team was the property's slope requiring innovated solutions for even grading to create a welcoming and workable space. We faced this challenge with terraced planting beds to control soil stabilization as well as creating a depth of layering and visual interest in the landscape. The outcome was a stunning front yard oasis, which melded beauty and functionality to provide our homeowners with an outdoor experience. The homeowners were thrilled when we completed this and expressed how they were pleased this new landscape suited their personality and made their home look great as well.
