About This Project

Sherman Oaks Commercial Building Allstate Landscape & Southwest Greens are pleased to present the completion of the Sherman Oaks Commercial Building landscaping . What began as an empty and lifeless building exterior evolved into a site that now provides a vibrant outdoor space. The involved a thorough detailed design and execution plan that would complement the modern architecture of the building while providing solutions to the residential/commercial conflicts of the site. We incorporated native plants and other drought-tolerant plants to create lush and green designated spaces that added value through aesthetic and sustainability. The sidewalks featured high-quality permeable pavers which allow for rain absorption and cutting down on runoff. The stone features and colorful flower beds added color and texture that welcomed visitors. The posed one major challenge; there limited planting space because of building assets and infrastructure. Our landscape architects were able to utilize smart design with vertical gardens and container planters. All greenery was plants that worked together to maximize plant coverage while ensuring functionality. The final product is a beautiful landscape that defines the Sherman Oaks charm - inviting, modern, and environmentally conscious. The team spent time ensuring that the proper both plant types and layout were used to create precise outdoor extensions of the building. The clients' reactions were overwhelmingly positive; they informed us that the new outdoor living space has become a peaceful respite for tenants and visitors.
