Hickory Creek Nursery's Landscaping at South Ponte Vedra Blvd. Located along picturesque South Ponte Vedra Blvd., Hickory Creek Nursery’s landscaping work is a prime example of quality and design. Serving the Jacksonville area, we completely renovated the outdoor space, creating a balance between nature and function to improve the property’s curb appeal. The began with a thorough site assessment, where we identified the need for improved drainage capabilities and improved aesthetics. Our talented landscape architects developed a master plan reflective of coastal character. We utilized native plants, and species tolerant of salinity, including dune sunflowers and beach elder. The goal was a landscape scheme that utilized locally suited plants and contributed to increased biodiversity. We utilized quality materials to fabricate beautiful pathways of coquina stone, sourced locally, and constructed walls for structural character. Both materials are visually appealing, and guide visitors through the landscape gardens, and the walls provide structure and quality. An irrigation system was installed to maintain the luscious vegetation while conserving water. We overcame challenges, such as uneven land and existing invasive species in the landscape beds and trees. Our hardworking crew executed grading strategies and removal of unwanted foliage successfully, creating a balanced and aesthetically pleasing landscape. The end product is spectacular. The newly designed landscape exemplifies plant beds with vibrant colors; outdoor seating areas create reprieve, while the fire pit is a perfect installation for gatherings. The vision of the client was achieved, representing beauty and function in an outdoor oasis. At Hickory Creek Nursery, we take pride in our quality and service. The South Ponte Vedra Blvd. was both a pleasure and challenge; our customer was more than pleased with her new outdoor escape. She will enjoy this work for many years to come.
