This impressive residential landscaping effort transformed this underutilized outdoor space into a thriving, functional outdoor environment that meets the specific needs of our clients. The consisted of a nice balance of hardscaping and softscaping. To start, a beautiful stone patio was installed using local bluestone. The patio is extremely functional for outdoor entertainment. The also included intricate and purposeful paths constructed of natural boulders and LED lighting, offering glowing atmospheres during the evening. The property was built on a Sloped terrain, and one of the more challenging aspects of the was developing a multi-level garden that would accommodate the slope and create a landscape with varying interest and depth, while resolving the drainage issues that limit the functionality of outdoor spaces. Ultimately, this involved developing retaining walls consisting of durable natural stones that not only serve a functional purpose but also help build the integrity of the formal landscape. The softscaping aspects of the were abundant and beautiful too! Our landscape architects designed an impressive selection of native plants and perennials that thrive in the local climate, providing endless beauty throughout the annual seasons while also supporting environmental biodiversity. As well, a flourishing vegetable garden was included within the unrestricted space for the family to enjoy their healthy, edible vegetables, and beautiful flower beds were designed to frame the entire property with various color throughout the year. Overall the results of the Normandy Farms were beautiful! Our clients were ecstatic their new outdoor escape; strikingly elegant yet functional. The improved the overall curb appeal of their home while also instilling a sense of place that their families & friends would come together and enjoy making lasting memories.
