Our team was hired to take an average backyard and create a luxurious oasis for the bustling communities of Cos Cob, Glenville, North Stamford, Old Greenwich, Riverside, and Stamford. Site assessment to understand the site specific topography and soil texture was first phase of the . Porcelain tiles and natural stone coping were carefully picked to ensure the best possible transition between the pool and the surrounding area. Our design includes vibrant native plantings, which not only beautify the development, but also support native biodiversity. The bulk of this construction work presented a few unique challenges chief among which was the slope of the land, which needed to be effectively dealt with without the need for much excavation, while still allowing sufficient room for drainage and access along the cordon of the solution. To build the right feature and stabilize the soil around the plant, our professional team employed a tiered landscaping plan, using stone to create retaining walls that will have both structural and visual appeal. We also set up a new irrigation system to keep the greenery looking nice all year round. At that point in the , we became known for our attention to detail. A thoughtful arrangement of softscape, such as decorative grasses and colorful perennials, were used to provide an excellent backdrop, all which worked beautifully on both sides of the pool. We did add in an outdoor lounge area with seating and a fire pit perfect for gatherings or even just a quiet spot to relax. The end result was beyond what our client hoped: a stunning swimming pool secluded by lovingly designed landscaping, all in synch with the local ecosystem. It beautifies the property and creates a place for family get-togethers and summer parties.
