The completed was a breathtaking transformation that reflects our elevated standards in landscaping. In the heart of Lancaster County, this demanded an approach that would respect the natural beauty of the landscape in and around the property with new elements of design. The began by addressing the unique circumstances of the site including a variable topography and views of existing (mature) trees on the property. We designed and installed a multi-level garden that enhanced the look of the landscape while improving drainage and soil health. The rustic and elegant aesthetic is achieved by the locally sourced stone that was used for the retaining walls, blending perfectly with the greenery of shrub beds and flower beds. The selection of plant materials was also thoughtful regarding annual and perennial selections of two seasons, with a palette of shrubs that provided year-round appeal, due to a diversity of textures of heights, shapes, and colours of materials, while also promoting the use of eco-friendly practices of sustainability by selecting native plants that support local wildlife and reduce irrigation needs. As a functional space for socializing outdoors while selecting aesthetics, we constructed a custom paver patio for the property. Despite obstacles such as limited access to the property or inclement weather, our skilled crew performed their work with high standards and professionalism. The final product is a breathtaking masterpiece, representing the goals established by the homeowner, and improving the overall value of their property. The reveal of the landscape brought joyous smiles and excitement to our clients who now have a place to relax in their backyard.
