Winton Park Landscape Renovation by Austin Ganim Landscape Design, LLC Austin Ganim Landscape Design, LLC is proud to announce the completion of the Winton Park Landscape Renovation, which enhanced the outdoor environment for this beloved community asset. Winton Park transformation, central Connecticut, USA: Winton Park, in the heart of Connecticut, revitalised to be a sustainable, attractive and functional shape that caters for different user groups in the area; The design was complex to blend into natural landscapes of the park. Using low-maintenance native plants, our team increased biodiversity through natural methods. In our park design, we included accomplished hardscaping, utilizing path stone registers from around the corner, as well as permeable paving that caters to concurrent drainage without disrupting the natural beauty of the park. A mound and swale system was needed to deal with the undulating landscape but the trees also needed to be retained. Our team was able to regrade the site with precision and create tiered gathering spaces that encourage socialization as well as outdoor activities. We also created a unique rain garden that not only provides beauty but also houses an ecological function as it mitigates stormwater runoff and supports wildlife. The end product is an architectural marvel combining form and function and a home that has impressed their client and their neighbours.
