Urban Modern Condominium Complex in Warner Center Featuring the Modfounta The Urban Modern Condominium Complex in Warner Center is another urban landscape created by Modfountain.com that exemplifies the synergy we can achieve in landscaping and design. The conceptual purpose of the was to integrate a modern structure with landscaping that reflects the natural environment; a space where urban inhabitation is activated by nature as a place of enjoyment. The signature feature of the space is the Modfounta, an elegant water feature that serves both an aesthetic and functional purpose. The Modfounta, made from high-quality and durable materials stainless steel and natural stone provides eye-catching and creates a unique ambiance. Plant material in the landscape included a diversity of plant material, featuring many native drought-tolerant species, which was selected to enhance the unique nature of the site while promoting the sustainable principles present within the . One of the large challenges was the limited space for landscaping as bounded by the urban constraint. Our design team met that challenge using vertical gardens and multi-tiered planters to achieve a maximum amount of plant material that integrated with the pedestrian friendly walkways and urban movement of the space. Selecting materials such as permeable pavers for pathways offered water drainage capabilities and enhanced aesthetic opportunities. The result is a beautifully integrated landscape space that invites all residents and visitors to enjoy and relax. The combination of the Modfounta, dynamic plantings, and all elements within the space have produced a true sanctuary for everyone to experience amid the urban environment. The client also expressed great satisfaction not only with how the space looked, but also how it functioned and integrated into the overarching stance of sustainability.
