Muirfield Driveway by Pony Lawncare and Landscaping Located in the picturesque neighborhood of Muirfield, Pony Lawncare and Landscaping renovated a driveway at the family's residence that serves both functionally as an entry point and as a visual element to the property. The was carefully planned to increase curb appeal, while maintaining the durability and maintenance on the homeowner's end. Our team began with a review of the old driveway, which consisted of old asphalt that had deteriorated. During our review we noticed several challenges, including uneven surfaces in certain areas and drainage problems causing pooling in the driveway during heavy rains. We decided the best option was utilizing a beautiful permeable paver system that resolved the drainage issues and an aesthetically pleasing stable surface. This selected vehicle was chosen to complement the vehicle's architecture, while capturing natural looks with a variety of 'earth' tone colors. In addition to the driveway install, we later installed a wrap along the approach of decorative stone, where we also installed lighting in selected areas. This did two things: it gave the homeowner safety in the evening time and created beauty in the landscape. The warm, buried lights elevated the approach and highlighted the beauty of the bordering landscape. Throughout the process we were challenged with being under time constraints due to disruptions in the homeowner's daily life. Through careful planning to a team effort, we finished the ahead of schedule, and I can recall the looks of extreme joy on the home owner's faces. The stunning new Muirfield Driveway is nothing short of spectacular. The new driveway enhances the visual concept on the property, with smooth surfaces and beautiful colors to encourage exploration of the landscape on foot. The home owner was thrilled during the final walkthrough and expressed how pleased they were the functionally of the driveway in combination with the overall beauty.
