About This Project

PLANT Design Group Backyard Makeover PLANT Design Group has recently completed an incredible 'Backyard Makeover' that transformed a boring outdoor space into a beautiful oasis that will delight homeowners in Bucks County and Montgomery County. This was located in Doylestown and was primed with precision to exemplify our attention to detail and quality. The transformation began with an in-depth analysis of the client's needs and desires. The design process included a layered approach including a peaceful water feature that provides a relaxing soundscape, and a stone patio built to be the perfect meeting place for family and friends. We selected natural flagstone to ensure structural integrity while adding another layer of visual appeal to the overall design. Through the process, there were numerous challenges. Our terrain was uneven, and the existing drainage was limited. Our team created an inventive grading plan that eliminated the drainage and visual problem. The landscape also capitalized on a mix of native plants and seasonal flower beds that really provided bursts of color while increasing biodiversity. The end result was an outdoor space that provided uniformity, comfort, privacy and a rustic fire pit for gatherings. The overjoyed client told us that the new outdoor space was reflective of their living style that combines relaxation and entertaining.
