Front & Backyard Makeover by PLANT Design Group We are excited to share our latest ‘Front & Backyard Makeover’ , an example of how we strive for perfection in a landscape across communities in Bryn Athyn, New Hope, Doylestown, and beyond. This outdoor living focused on maximizing usable space while incorporating landscapes that are functional and visually appealing. Our started with a detailed design consultation. Our skilled team worked hand in hand with the homeowners to understand their dream space. We started with some hurdles like uneven terrain and limited available light; but with some thoughtful design, we created a plan that was entertaining and took advantage of space and available light. In the front yard, we had designed a beautiful stone pathway lined with native plants that would thrive in the local environment, increased the curb appeal, and helped support local biodiversity. Using quality bluestone, gives it that sense of durability and longevity, while creating an inviting entrance way. We included ornamental trees and seasonal flowering plants to provide a colorful pop and year round interest. In the back yard, we turned it into a relaxing retreat for their family. We designed and built a custom patio using natural pavers, and many outdoor gatherings surrounded by greenery, and well-placed landscape lighting that gave a warm, inviting glow. The homeowners added a water feature to provide a soothing ambiance along with their fire pit area inviting everyone to cozy nights outside beneath the stars! Every detail was considered for this from the environmentally conscious mulching materials to drought resistant plants to help promote a sustainable landscape while maintaining a stylish design. Overall, the design met the client’s needs, and then some! They are completely satisfied with the end product and are ecstatic that they now have a space they can enjoy with family and friends throughout the years.
