Stone Walkway & Comprehensive Landscaping by PLANT Design Group At PLANT Design Group, we take great care to create or modify landscape spaces into destinations that are both beautiful and functional. Our recent , 'Stone Walkway & Complete Landscaping,' represents our commitment to quality and customer service, while demonstrating we create beautiful outdoor spaces. Located in beautiful Newtown, PA, the scope of work involved designing and building a beautiful stone walkway that fits with the surrounding landscape. The stone walkway utilizes locally-sourced Pennsylvania bluestone known for its durability and natural beauty. The stone was carefully reviewed and curated for color and texture with timelessness necessary to fit the architecture of the home. The existing terrain was not level, so grading and drainage were challenges to creating and finishing the using design and carpentry skills. In addition to the stone walkway, the team completed a full landscaping that included colorful flowerbeds, native shrubs, and ornamental grasses. These plants were not only beautiful and easy to maintain but are ecologically beneficial. We decided to support sustainability with organic amendments (manure) through the soils and placement of a drip irrigation system to conserve water. The end result is a beautiful outdoor retreat to either relax alone in or invite friends to gather. Our client is thrilled with the end product. They indicated that the stone walkway provides immediate access to their garden while the additional new landscaping provides a relaxed atmosphere inviting outdoor living outside of their four walls. This illustrates our quality craft of design style and creativity, not to mention PLANT Design Group is the landscape design company of choice for our clients' friends in Bryn Athyn, and others in Doylestown, Warrington, and beyond.
