About This Project

Kirsten's Entry Landscape At Gardens ALIVE Design we pride ourselves on designing outdoor spaces that not only become beautiful landscapes but also become an extension of the customer. 'Kirsten's Entry Landscape' is a perfect representation of our high quality and creative work done exceptionally well for a client in the lovely Bellevue area. The vision for this was to design a welcoming, functional entryway that balances beauty with purpose. The gardens are full of native plants, ornamental grasses, and seasonal flowers (also low maintenance!) chosen for their ability to complement the beauty of the surroundings. Local stone pavers were used for the walkway providing longevity and a rustic touch that unifies with the original architecture. Our topmost challenge came from the slope which needed to be drained. This also solved the drainage issue with a tiered garden bed system, as well as creates visual interest through the varied heights. Decorative boulders and subtle landscape lighting introduced to the illuminated the path and created a spotlight effect on the foliages at night. This was the final result to the entry landscape that has completely changed Kirsten's home. Now the combination of color, texture, and form greets guests with warmth and sophistication. Kirsten was thrilled with the , saying, "The new landscape has not only created a beautiful front entry, but has provided tremendous value to the overall value of the home." We are glad that Gardens ALIVE Design had a part in creating this space that Kirsten and her family can enjoy for many years to come!
